Family Caregiver Support Program (FCSP)
San Joaquin County's Family Caregiver Support Program provides services to caregivers who assist frail older adults over 60 or individuals of any age with Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder with neurological and organic brain dysfunction, enhancing their ability to provide care within the home. This program helps caregivers manage the daily challenges of caregiving through various support services.
To be eligible for the Family Caregiver Support Program:
- You are an adult caregiver, age 18 and older
- You are providing informal in-home care to an individual over the age of 60 and frail or to an individual of any age with Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder with neurological and organic brain dysfunction
- Must reside in San Joaquin County

Caregiver Support
The FCSP offers comprehensive case management, respite care to provide temporary relief, and assistance with daily tasks to support caregivers. These services are designed to alleviate caregiving's physical and emotional stress, allowing caregivers to maintain their well-being while managing their caregiving responsibilities effectively.
