The Independent Living Program is funded by Federal and State sources. It is designed to help foster youth transition to adulthood and independence. Many of these young individuals face significant challenges and adversities throughout their lives. Recognizing the need for additional support, the program aims to equip them with the necessary skills and resources to become self-sufficient adults.

The Independent Living Program offers:

  • Independent Living Skills Assessments: Evaluating each youth's current skills to identify specific needs.
  • Training: Providing comprehensive training sessions to develop critical life skills.
  • Services: Offering various support services tailored to foster youths' unique challenges.
  • Transitional Independent Living Plan: Create a personalized plan for each youth that outlines their path to independence.
